Cannot loop selected track in multitrack

Cannot loop selected track in multitrack.  I want to just loop that section but it goes all the way to the end of the longest track before looping.  Also, it is not possible to select loop like you can in Waveform mode.  It also doesn't have an option to link what you've done in multitrack to Waveform.  It should have the ability to revert changes individually based upon sections than doing a global redo of whatever you did on the app.  There should be a redo/undo clipboard for certain areas.  Doesn't have to be anything too crazy just something to narrow stuff down intuitively instead of being like oh I should've kept this but I didn't now I'm lost because I'm so many steps ahead in another area of development.

Correct - you can't loop tracks. You can only loop clips, by turning on 'Loop' in the clip's basic settings. Since it's possible to combine several clips into a single one, or create unique copies, you can easily make selections to loop out of anything you want, really. Once you've got used to it, it's pretty flexible.

How do you take what you've trimmed in multitrack into waveform?  It's not as simple as knowing exactly where the clippings are to make it yourself in Waveform.  Also, why isn't it possible to loop clips under multitrack?  It's as dumb as not being able to use bullets in Adobe XD and you having to make your own circles.

You don't take what you've trimmed in Multitrack anywhere. The whole point of Multitrack is that it is a non-linear editor - and if you open any of its source files in Waveform view, then they will open in their entirety. And clips are the only thing you can loop in Multitrack - you go to the Properties box with the clip you want to use highlighted, and select 'Loop' in the basic settings, as I said before. The basic instructions for using looping in Audition are here - I suggest you read through them as you don't appear to be familiar with how they work.
