Certain actions take too long

 Hello there,

 using Adobe Audition 22.0 and some actions take to long too long to be completed.

For example I have a  recording of 35 seconds on one track that is chopped in 3 parts,merging these events take about 11 seconds.Loading icon , and adobe audition not responding appear for these 11 seconds.

 My computer is an  AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz  Ram 16,0 GB.

Didnt have this problem with previous Versions.
