Certain SESX files will not open or shut down Audition

Audition is shutting down when I try to open recent sessions. Or I just get the spinning ball and have to do a Force Quit. The seesions were running fine but now they will not open. I can open other older sessions. I tried opening the Back Ups of these sessions from my Creative Cloud Files with the same results.
How can I find the problem?

    Sounds like some corruption has occurred. The person to look at this is SuiteSpot (sesx file expert) and hopefully he'll spot this - he should do, just from the thread title! I'd say that it was a corruption rather than missing files - if it was just files that had been relocated, then you'd get a specific warning about this, and not a spinning ball.
