Question

Changing tuning standard calibration A4 440Hz to something else, e.g. A4 420.

Is there any possibility to change the tuning standard calibration A4 440 to some other values, say A4 420Hz for the spectral interpretation?

In other words I would like to shift the frequency axis for a music piece, without changing the pitch or anything else, but just to interpret the frequencies differently.

Thanks for any feedback.

I'm afraid that there is no facility for doing that, no. It wouldn't be frequencies you'd want to shift anyway - they are what they are. The only thing you would be able to alter is the note value attached to any particular one, but as I said, there's no way of doing that at present.

Many thanks for the quick answer. I am not sure whether the way I did ask my question was clear enough... I you allow me I would like to ask it again. This time with illustration.

On the image on the left I have my normal spectral view. On the image to the right I have the same spectral view, with the notes scale or frequencies scale shifted about 1 semitone (or 100 cents).

There is not change in my spectral view, just the scale is shifted up (or down).

This would be just to ease reading notes in case of instruments not tuned at A4 = 440 Hz. Of course shifting about just some cents would be even better.

Well, that is pretty much what I thought you meant - and no you can't shift the note scale, I'm afraid.
