What are the basic processings of Click/Pop Eliminator ?

The built-in manual in Audition 3 is a beginning of answer, but by far not complete enough.

I'm not really sure what more information we can supply you with that isn't in the Help file, Click/Pop Eliminator effect (Edit View only)?

What sort of Clicks are you trying to remove? Try some of the presets.

You might find a little more explanation in the Audition CC help files. The Click/Pop Eliminator is very similar in the latest version of Audition.

Thank you, sir.

I'll try the recent Helps.

If I might, I would choose one single question :

In the effect window, must the red line ("Reject") be below or above the green one ("Detect")  ?

It doesn't have to be either but generally for most use the red reject line will be above the green detect one ie. at a lower threshold. If you look at the Presets you will see this is mostly the case.

There is also a third party effect called ClickFix which I find is even better than the built in one if you pay for the full version. It allows you to preview and listen to the clicks only which enables you to experiment with the settings more. If you try to remove too much 'click' it may also remove bits of the audio attack, especially bad if the audio is music containing drums or trumpets.
