Clicks in adobe audition voice recording

Hello, I have been struggling with a problem for a week but I can't solve it. I bought an Audio Technica at 2035 microphone and an ESI U22 XT sound card, but when recording there is usually a click every 20 or 30 seconds in my recording. I tried many ways, I increased and decreased the buffer size, although the clicks are relatively less in the small buffer size, but it still exists and does not disappear. I tried different audio recording software but the problem still persists, I even changed my laptop windows but the problem still persists.
We tested the microphone and sound card in the store where I bought it and this time there were no clicks and the sound was clean and clear, I am really surprised. The only way left for me is to try the record process with a new xlr cable and if it still doesn't solve the problem, I really don't know what to do. Do you have a solution for this problem?
