Hi there

I have a juli audio card on my computer that has a midi port.

I want to know

Can the software use the "transport.toggle pause" command using this audio card and through the control surface section?

    Only with a control device that is compatible with one of Audition's list of protocols. So probably a hardware device that can use Mackie protocol via MIDI for Transport control. But they will also provide much more control than just Start/Stop. Unfortunately though most low cost hardware controllers only connect MIDI via USB these days, not via the old fashioned DIN connector. But providing you have a spare USB port on your PC you don't need to use the MIDI ports on your sound card any more. Something like nanoKONTROL2 - SLIM-LINE USB CONTROLLER | KORG (U.K.) perhaps.

    I've seen this device before, but I wanted to give "transport toggle pause" command to the software without using nanokontrol2 via an external voltage(5v) to the midi port.
