Copying entire session on same tracks in timeline

Hi there,

I know it's simple but I'm trying to find the method to copy an entire session to further along my timeline on all it's original tracks. When I tried already, it pasted tracks in a onto different lines . (I have 4 bus tracks as 1,2,3,4 so not sure if that makes a difference).

Thanks for your help.

I would 'select all' and then group everything into one big group.  Make sure all the clips are not 'locked' and then select the 'group' while holding down the alt key and then you can drag a copy of the selected group of clips further along the timeline (just make sure you are zoomed out far enough to see where you are dragging to)

That looks to have worked a treat! Thank you!

Can I ask if there's an easy way to group the copied lot so that if I do an edit it will be applied across all tracks?

    Cheers

Short answer is no - there is some limited things you can do splitting clips, etc but not what I think you want to do
