Cover Art Adobe Audition 3

When importing an MP3 with cover art and I go to edit the audio portion and resave. It does not save the cover art again and I find myself having to re add the cover art..

 

Any ideas how to keep from resaving cover art?

    When you edit the audio from an MP3 in Audition, it gets decoded to a wav file, and these don't support cover art. Subsequently, when you resave your edit as another MP3 you lose both audio quality (you're recompressing something that has already had lossy compression applied to it) and pictures, I'm afraid - that's the nature of compressed distribution formats; they're not intended to be edited as such.
