My audition keeps crashing

Some files which are fine and have been working when opened just simply cvrash the program

My audition is a new install on a new machine and i used the old audition 2010 until recently when support stopped and never had an issue

This new audition has been 'buggy' since i installed it and keeps failing me.

what to do?

I even had a technician remote in and in the end we couldnt find the cause.

Do i reinstall and lose all of my settings or whatever? is there a way to back them up?

and how do i fix this?

clean reinstall?

this machine is fast and strong - 64g ram / NVIDIA RTX4060 / 3.64 TB /64 bit system / SSD drives /i7 core/ 8.19TB storage and NAS system -so why?

ANtivirus - Malawares

Yes you could try a clean install, using Adobe CCcleaner first to get rid of all traces of the previous installation. But before that, perhaps you could locate one of the crash logs and post the text of it into a reply here... (see first link below)

Whenever Audition fails to start, or terminates abruptly for no apparent reason, an error log is created. This often indicates exactly what has failed. Follow what it says in the first link, but first copy and paste the log into this thread before sending it anywhere - this is often a quicker way to get a response.
