Starting December 11, 2023, new users and organizations will not be entitled to Creative Cloud Synced files. Starting February 1, 2024, Creative Cloud Synced files will be discontinued for personal accounts that existed before December 11, 2023. Starting October 1, 2024, Creative Cloud Synced files will be discontinued for business accounts associated with organizations that existed before December 11, 2023. Adobe Audition will remove support for creative cloud file synch option in compliance with the above change for all personal and business users by early next year.

Please find below helpx articles shared announcing the deprecation for Creative cloud.

It is highly recommended to move your workflow away from using Creative cloud synced files as soon as possible.

Audition will remove support for creative cloud file synch from the released version in line with the creative cloud file synch option deprecation. This change has already been made in the Audition Beta builds. This option will no longer be available in the UI under Settings-> Auto Save -> Backup location. If you are on an older version of Adobe Audition, the UI option may be present and files will continue to be backed up on your local drive, but the creative cloud file synch will not work in the backend. The default Auto-save backup location will be changed to ‘Within Session Folder’.

The files backed up in the creative cloud folder will continue to be in the folder backed up on your local drive and you can find the backed-up files as per instructions shared in creative cloud blog post above. Please move your backups to a different folder with third-party synching services if you would like these to be synched to the cloud. If you have chosen a different folder already for backup, this change will not impact your file backup.

To work around this change, you can choose a different folder location for backing up your files including third-party synching services going forward.

We use the files sync every day in real-time with Adobe Audition. We have people recording and other editors in multiple states. If I understand this correctly we will no longer be able to do that with the audio files. Do you know of other options to get this done? What other audio editing programs are there that support file syncing services?
