CS5.5 Dialogue Panels

Question

My dialogue panels are not showing up. I am on a MacBook pro, High Sierra.

Example:

For some reason when I click Effects --> Noise Reduction, nothing shows up. The usual window that pops up to allow for noise reduction is not visible. I have found if I click View --> Multitrack Editor, when the multitrack session dialogue box shows up, the Noise Reduction pane will also appear.

When I am in the multitrack editor, I can click something like "match volume" and nothing appears. I am assuming it is doing whatever the other panels are doing.

What is going on? How can I get these panels to show up like they should?

You could try setting Audition back to the Default settings by holding down the Shift key whilst you open Audition.
