Damaged/ditorted record

Question

I'm sorry, but you stand absolutely no chance whatsoever of fixing this. Nil. Nix. Nada...

The problem with distortion in general is that because there's no record of what something was supposed to sound like, there's no means of compensating what you've got. Basically, you can't fix distortion - period.
