Question

DeClicker Audio Quality

I'm trying to find ways to cut down the amount of manual audio editing I do on small things and stumbled on the declicker feature. Does anyone know if it changes the quality of the guests' audio when applied? I can't tell if i was imagining a thinner sound after applying the heavy reduction setting.

I doubt if it will work very well at all on anything other than the material it is intended to treat, which is clicks on vinyl records. These have a very definite sonic characteristic, and that's what the declicker is programmed to look for. On vinyl it works really well, but on any other material at all, all bets are off, especially with a heavy setting.
