Despite Update, when "Edit In Audition" from PP Pro Not Working

I'm working in Mac OS 10.15.2, and have installed the latest versions of PP Pro and Audition (14.01) and Audition (13.02.35) 

Despite the updates, when I try to "Edit a Clip in Audition" from PP pro, no clip appears within Audition. I tried trashing my Prefs in PP Pro to see if that would help, but alas, nothing. 

 

Any ideas?

This issue is known about, and being worked on. The problem is the Mac OS and a change in the security protocols they apply - assuming that you're running Catalina, that is. This is all to do with file references being quarantined, and the fix requires changes to several apps, apparently. I'm presuming here that you are trying to access files via a remote drive?

 

I have to say though that Apple have form here; it's not the first time they've taken a working system and broken it...

Blaming it on Apple is a convenient move.  And it would be acceptable if this problem hasn't been around for months and still has not been resolved, despite a number of updates to other Creative Cloud apps.  And, for the record, the files I'm accessing are not on remote drives.
