Did you really HAVE TO "Adobe" Cool Edit?

So, I finally decided to make the jump from easy, intuitive, fast KILLER RADIO PRODUCTION Cool Edit 2.1, and come on over to Audition.

DEAR LORD did you have to nerd it up and change everything?

I simply want to take my 34:00 second commercial and time compress it to 32:00.  I don't want to get an Engineering degree to do it. I want to highlight and cut things out of the multitrack, not drag the little bar back and forth...I want hit the same buttons I've used for years, and created award winning major market voice over production with....

Why did you have to mess with perfection?
