Diffing Two Podcast Audio Voices

Howdy, I recently recorded a podcast with two people and two microphones. I tried my best to isolate them as much as possible but each microphone still picked up the other person a tiny bit. This leads to an echo when I mix the two tracks together. Is there anyway to extract the difference between the tracks or reconcile this episode in any way? I know people record with multiple microphones, so there has to be a way but I'm a total noob when it comes to this stuff.

Cheers

Correct answer ryclark

Were the two mics recorded at the same time in the same room? If so I am not sure why there should be an 'echo' unless you are just referring to room acoustics recorded by the mics. What type of microphone did you use?

There are a couple of other similar threads in the Forum which might help.

Can I solve this issue on my podcast because I'm facing the same issue on my podcast?
