Distorted Audio
Hello,
I've been searching online and haven't been able to find a solution for what I'm hoping can be fixed (or rather I haven't found a solution that I like).
I was filming a wedding recently and the audio I recorded of the toasts has come out really distorted. Typically when I record audio of the toasts I just plug my Tascam audio recorder into an output on the DJ's speakers, but this DJ told me he didn't want me to do that because he was worried it would blow out his speaker (is that a thing?) and wanted me to plug it into his mixer instead. We tested it out beforehand and it sounded fine and the levels weren't peaking or anything, so I don't know if he turned up the volume or something during the toasts but this is what the audio sounds like now Dropbox - test-1.wav - Simplify your life
I know there aren't any miracle cures when it comes to bad audio, but I guess I'm hoping that maybe there is some band-aid method that I don't know about that could make it sound a little better?
