Dropouts in Audition CC 2017

Question

Good morning,we've experience some dropouts in rendering audio projects to a single audio file; also, in some cases, small lenght of audio frames duplicate randomly in the timeline, no user action can be made to prevent or solve the problem; sw version is the latest Audition CC 2017 release; auto update is currently performing in background.Operating System platform is Windows 10 Professional with all latest patches and upgrades installed; the problem shows with different audio cards than the one already integrated on motherboard.Do you experience similar problem on latest Audition release? Do you need further information about this issue? When will be release a patch to fix this bug?Best regards.

The only clue I can see in what you've reported is that you have duplications at random points, but you haven't really told us very much else, I'm afraid. Do you have effects on the tracks you are trying to render, and if so, what are they? And how many tracks are we talking about in the mix?

Since we haven't had any other reports of this happening that haven't been satisfactorily explained, it's unlikely to be a bug - that would have been spotted a while ago. But issues with large numbers of tracks, and some effects, certainly have caused people problems before. Typically, adding Full Reverb to a track, and then expecting it to render as part of a mixdown could definitely cause a problem in some instances. The solution to this is simple; any track with a lot of effects added can be 'pre-rendered', which improves the situation with the final mix-down considerably.

Locating the pre-render button is easy - in the track's effects panel, it looks like this:
