Is dvaaudiofilterscan still used in Audition CC (2020)? I just want to know if I still need to allow incoming network connections to it. Thanks.

The only references to this that I can find relate to Premiere and Macs - where there have been a lot of complaints about it. I've never come across it as an Audition issue. Can you provide a little more context, please?

Thanks, Steve.

Yes, on my Mac, when attempting to scan for plugins while I was still using Audition CS6, an Audition dialog box would appear with a message stating that dvaaudiofilterscan had failed (or something to that effect) for some reason. It's been some time since that last occurred, and I'm now using the latest version of CC, and plugins have been successfully loaded and enabled. The reason I mention it now is because I was checking on apps requiring network connections and dvaaudiofilterscan was still in the list and enabled.
