Dynamic link video not updating when changed in Premiere.

I've used Premiere for years but only recently started learning Audition. In the tutorial it shows that video changes (but not audio) made in Premiere will automatically update via dynamic link to the reference video in Audition. In the Lynda.com tutorial the instructor demonstrates this, however, this is not working for me.

I did see in older forum posts that others have had this issue, but that was from 2015.

Dynamic Link between Premiere and Audition not truly dynamic?

Is this still an issue?  What can I do to get this to work?

BTW: I have made sure both Audition and Premiere are updated to the most current versions.

    Hi there,

    That's not ideal. I appreciate your research for finding a fix to your problem. Ideally, the dynamic link should work efficiently if the version of both the applications is in sync.

      Audition 12.1.3.10

      Premiere 13.1.4 Build 2

      I have both items saved in the same exercise folder that came with the Lynda.com tutorial. They are on my D drive, which is what I put most projects on without issues.
