Earpods not working (important)

Hello, i started using Au today for rap but my the software says there is a problem with my sound equipment and when i go to "preference" it says everywhere (clock, in and out) that my earpods are not working. But when i select "no enter" as enter i can hear the music but obviously can't use the mic. Please help me 🙏
