Edit video?

I have done a lot of editing in Audition, nothing complex, but I am comfortable with it.

I have to edit a lot of Webex video (slide presentations with audio).  I am really editing the audio, taking out questions, chatter, coughing, dead space, etc.

I am starting with MPEG video (mp4).

I know that you can edit the audio portion of a video, but are there any options for doing what I need to do in Audition?

Thanks.

No Audition is an audio only editor. Adobe would like you to buy Premiere Pro video software for that purpose.

Thanks.  I have Premiere, since I have Creative Cloud, but I really don't want to invest the time in learning it for the relatively low-level editing I need to do.

I have heard people talking about editing audio tracks from video in Audition.  Just hoping for an easy solution.

For basic stuff, the learning curve with Premiere Pro is actually pretty easy.  It's only when you get into special effects that it takes a lot of learning.  FYI, most of the tools you need (for example the Razor for cutting stuff out and the ability to drag clips) works in a very similar way to what you're used to in Audition.

Trouble is, if you're like me you'll soon want to play with the complicated stuff.
