Effect Rack in Multitrack not working properly

Hello everyone. I have an issue that I find it hard to resolve it. I had an effect preset including EQ, Compressor (I use FabFilter C2), Reverb in Multitrack view for my vocal track. The thing is when I set up all of them, the compressor seemed not working properly, it did not compress the dynamic a lot. However, when I compressed a clip in waveform view, it then worked properly as what I want. Can anyone tell me what happened and how to control or edit the Effect rack in Multitrack properly like sending effects or arranging effect order. I am not a master to Adobe audtion.
