Question

Effect Rack in Multitrack not working properly

Hello everyone. I have an issue that I find it hard to resolve it. I had an effect preset including EQ, Compressor (I use FabFilter C2), Reverb in Multitrack view for my vocal track. The thing is when I set up all of them, the compressor seemed not working properly, it did not compress the dynamic a lot. However, when I compressed a clip in waveform view, it then worked properly as what I want. Can anyone tell me what happened and how to control or edit the Effect rack in Multitrack properly like sending effects or arranging effect order. I am not a master to Adobe audtion. Thanks in advance.

FabFilter has been known to cause some problems in Audition. If it works fine without it, then that's your answer. It's worth checking to see if there's an update to it...

With respect I've been using FabFilter plugins in Audition [on Mac] for years. Never had an issue *except* for the discussed widespread incompatabilities with AU plugins. Any such issues were not isolated to FabFilter plugs. In any case I believe this has been addressed and rectified in the current release [ver.13.0.6].  I can verify the issue is solved on my MacBook Pro running Mojave. I've yet to test this on my production MacPro running High Sierra.

Yes, but this is somebody who's actually having a problem with it - as were the others previously. Saying it works for you isn't exactly going to help them fix it, is it? And also, we don't even know if this is on a Mac or a PC...
