Effects Rack - Basic Question

Hello All,

I need to go through the normalization, compression, hard limiter processes. No problem with that part other than learning what works best, but when I install them on the Effects Rack, and then hit "Apply," they disappear from the rack. I'd like them to stay there because I'll need to use them again and want to save a little time (and the settings I've input if possible) by choosing from the Rack instead of drop down menus.

Thank you.

Steve

When you've got it set up the way you want, then save it as a preset before applying it. Click the icon to the left of the dustbin to do this. Next time you want to use it, just open the preset, and it will all be there.

Your settings for the Normalisation, Compression and Hard Limiting can be saved as Favorites (the star icon in each effects stings page). These can then be assigned to keyboard shortcuts for instant access when you are editing.

Also if you are working in the Multitrack view you can save your Audition session with all it's settings (including Effects Rack) as a Template which can be recalled and used every time you do the same sort of editing.
