Efficiency with Markers
Hello All.
I edit 2 interview-based podcasts and I'm looking for ways to improve my efficiency. My current work-flow is:
1) Insert both interview wavs to multitrack
2) Group them to sync
3) Speed up playback by 200% to reduce the listening time
4) Mark interview thematically with subclip markers - make any major cuts
5) Mark interview for vocal tics and mess ups (ums, ahs, etc)
Now this is where I'm having trouble.
Currently, I go through, select each marker and command + k to split, then delete the newly made clip (of the vocal tic). There are a few solutions I can think of to improve this workflow, but I don't know how to execute, if it's possible.
I would like to:
1) Return the interview speed to normal while having the markers maintain their place in the session. (Currently, they stay locked to the timeline, this still happens when I unselect this option from the "Markers and Metadata" preferences
2) Select all of the markers and ripple delete everything (instead of having to do it individually)
Any ideas?
