Export back to Pr and time durations

Question

Hello, I have 1 issue and 1 question if you can advice me

The issue: When I edit a sound clip in Pr with Au I can't export it back to Pr because the export to Pr option is always grayed out, so I have to save it as new .wav or.mp3 .. But what's the reason which makes the options grayed out?

The question: When I edit a sound clip from Pr in Au with the Stretch and pitch effect there's a difference in the time duration of the Pr vs Au.. In Pr the time duration is like 00:00:00:00 but in Au the time duration is 0:00:000 (ex: if a 00:00:04:20 clip in Pr it'll be shown as 0:04:800 in Au) and this makes some issues when trying to expect how much the new duration that's shown in Au will be seen in Pr especially when dealing with parts of seconds .. So is there some way to make the time duration in Au like what's in Pr? or if there a method to use in Au to calculate how much the new time in Au will be shown in Pr?

What timescale is shown in Audition is down to what you have selected for the time display. At the moment you are seeing it as Hours:Minutes:Seconds:Milliseconds. You need to change to what ever the frame rate that the video is in Pr. To do so right click anywhere on the time bar or display in Audition and select the correct frame rate from the drop down menu.

If you cannot Export back to Pr there are a couple of reasons why it might be greyed out. First of all both versions of Audition and Première must match ie. you need the latest from each. There can also be a disconnect if the two programmes were installed at different times. this may need a re-install of one or both or a bit more complicated Registry edit if you are on a Windows system. Don't know if the same applies to Macs.

However whatever you do don't export to .mp3. Always use .wav otherwise you may compromise your audio quality.

1- Your trick solved the time duration issue I chose SMPTE 25 fps and the time now is matching what's seen in Pr

2- It's true that I didn't install both softwares on the same time, but they both have the same version and release, and the strange thing is that I can use the (edit clip in Adobe Au) from Pr, but I can't export the edited clip back from Au to Pr?
