Export multiple tracks problem

Question

I have a problem when exporting multiple tracks.

I go to File > Export > Multitrack Mixdown > Entire Session and in Mixdown options I choose the tracks one by one... but, afer exporting, all the tracks have the same length. It compleates the shorter ones with silence at the end. I need each track to have it's own duration.

Anyone can help me??

Exporting a mixdown is just that--even if you specify a single track Audition thinks it's mixing (and adding any effects) so goes with the length that a full mixdown would be.

If you simply want to Export individual clips, you can work in Waveform View and use the Export/File command. If you need to add effects, you can apply them in Waveform then use either Export/File if you don't mind losing the original or use the Save As option and specify a new name.

You don't mention why you're exporting individual files but, for some applications, you actually do want to fill gaps beginning and end with silence to maintain sync.
