Export multitrack mixdown crashes but mixdown to new file works

Question

When I try to export Adition CC 2020 13.O.13:46 it crashes. Reset Audition. Still crashes. Edit>Select All>Rightclick>mixdown to new file works without crashing. Is there any difference in the master if I mixdown to new file without exporting ?

There should be no difference - but if you are having crashes, you should do what it says in this thread: Audition Crashed - now what? and post the log files both here and at audbugs@adobe.com

The reason for posting them here is that if it's obvious what's happening, we can probably tell you faster - although there are no guarantees.
