External, multichannel USB-ASIO-soundcards for Win10?

Question

Hi!

Are there external USB-soundcards with at least three different channels

that work under Win10
that come with ASIO-drivers (no "ASIO4ALL")
and that work with Audition 3.0 under Win10 in multi-channel-mode?

Please also list soundcards that work with later versions of Audition under Win10 in multi-channel-mode.

I already tried various soundcards, but e.g. the "CSL USB 7.1" only works in stereo-mode, ... . 😞

Thanks and regards,

Jörg

That's the VERY budget end of the market. At that point the only contending manufacturer is Behringer. The models to look at are the U-Phoria UMC204HD and slightly more expensively, the UMC404HD. There are ASIO drivers available and the reviews claim that they are wonderful. My experience of Behringer is that their products are fine as long as you don't keep plugging and unpluging inputs and outputs, and go very gently with the controls. The electronics are generally okay, though.

There are loads of them. But since you haven't given any indication of your budget, it's difficult to know where to start...
