i'm trying to use Audition as a live audio interface. Recording live reads of my podcasts in chunks. I want to pipe in sound efx and drops as I'm reading copy. The soundboard I'm using is Farrago. One of Rogue Ameoba's Audio software apps. Is there anyway I can pipe farrago directly into one of the tracks while doing live reads?

Thanks in advance.

Well this is for a Mac, so it's not so easy for us PC users to tell - but according to the website: "Farrago's Master Volume switch lets you duck audio playback, and per-tile output controls send your audio exactly where you want it." So on the face of it, it looks like it. But what we can't tell at all is how this app appears as an Audition source. Without that information, we really can't say whether it will work or not - and unfortunately the manufacturer's website isn't exactly giving a lot away. They certainly tell you how to set up Loopback so that you can live-mix the app into your mic stream, but there's nothing meaningful at all about routing it elsewhere. So it looks like you'll have to ask them...
