Fast forward without Donald Duck effect on voice?

Hi,

I'm editing spoken audio in Audition CC.

How come Audition can't fast forward (while pressing L on timeline) spoken audio without making it sound like Donal Duck (high pitch), while Premiere etc. can do it?

Or is there a way around this that I am not aware?

      Thanks for reply, but the resources you linked do not answer the question.

      I just wanna playback audio – without the distorted pitch – with 2x etc. speed on timeline.

      QuickTime can do that. It's hard to grasp, why Audition can't.
