fast playback

Hello,

I want to playback a track in a double speed, just like in YouTube.

The track should keep its original speed, I just want to playback fast (the FF button is too fast).

How can I do it?

Thanks

You csn alter just the playback speed very simply by using the J, K and L keys. I think that by default, L is set to 2x normal speed playback forwards (if it isn't, then you can set it to this in Preferences). K stops playback, and J does the same thing in reverse. As a bonus, hitting the L key twice plays at 4x the speed. Unfortunately the playback pitch follows the speed increase, so it isn't always that easy to tell what's going on. Ideally the pitch would stay the same, but hey, you can't win them all...

BTW, you can edit JKL playback speed in the preferences, to half speed (just found out..)
