File duration increasing dramatically

I'm a podcaster and I mix my episodes in Audition. I've recently been having an issue where episodes that are 1-2 hours in length are glitching and reading as anywhere from 5-9 hours in length outside of Audition. Editing the file in Audition: 1 hour, 18 minutes. Save the file and open it in iTunes or upload it to Podbean: 9 hours and 35 minutes. Same file.

Is there something happening in the saving process that is doing this and how would I get it to stop?

Could you let us know the export settings that generate the problematic duration files? And the settings that fix it?

Sure, the advice I saw said to export at a Constant Bit Rate (CBR) of  64Kbps, 96Kbps, or 128Kbps. I chose 96Kbps. Additionally, they advised a 22.05kHz or 44.1kHz sample rate. 44.1kHz is CD quality so I chose that. I think those settings are pretty standard for .mp3 exporting, so perhaps the defaults got mixed up on my software at some point. But now that I've set them to these settings, it seems to stay as my default export settings.

If you locate the file on your computer and right-click on it, you'll get a Properties option. What does it say about your file there? It should give you a type and a file size. If these are correct, then whatever is happening is occuring elsewhere...

I opened the file properties and it gives the duration as 9:35:24. I think everything else looks normal? But here's a ss:
