Question

Fix radio recording

I was interviewed on the radio and recorded it via the speaker on my computer. Obviously, the quality is hollow and not at all crisp. I have Audition and want to correct this so that the recording has a sharper sound. Admittedly, I only have very rudimentary skills on Audition. Until I learn how to do this myself, can someone please provide me with a step-by-step solution?

Secondly, so that I can improve, what's the best available video tutorial?

Thanks. --Mike

Hi Mike,

I would suggest that in the first instance you try to find out if you can re stream the radio interview.

Perhaps the radio station has a streaming channel like iPlayer / BBC Sounds.

More difficult is asking the radio station if they would give you a recording.

Lastly, if your own recording is all you have, post a small sample so we can see what

you have to deal with.

Best regards, Euan.
