Hi,

when transferring a vinyl or shellac you sometimes have a surface scratch and consequently a very regular issue.

How can I tell Adobe Audition (CC 2017, Mac) to fix this. Is there a way to apply e.g. the healing tool every 2 sec automatically?

I hope you know what I mean.

Thanks

Tristan

No there isn't, I'm afraid. If it's just a scratch, then the Click/Pop eliminator (the process effect) will do this for you anyway, and detect all sorts of other things you'd probably miss too...

In the old days of Audition 3 and it's Scripting feature I had a script that would do exactly that for a shellac 78rpm disc that had been broken in half and stuck back together. Unfortunately that simple type of scripting hasn't made it's way back into the latest versions of Audition.
