With all due respect.. as the title says. I just lost an hour of recording after crash and for whatever reason when the file was recovered, HALF the waveform was visable, but corrupt/mute. Not sure why this is a feature for only multitrack.

I understand the crash is not Adobe's fault - but I've lost time and money (not to mention by voice is fried from the previous two hours of recording) because of this feature that could've been implemented over half of a decade ago.

Sorry, but you really can't do this. Saving and downloading audio files directly ovet any sort of internet connection fails on a regular basis because of erratic hand-shaking - we've had loads of complaints about it before, and none of it is Adobe's fault. But it is the reason that only session files are backed up. So normal advice for working on remote files is to download them to a local drive before attempting to do anything to them, and the same goes for uploading - upload complete files, because that way there are no streaming issues.

If you are recording audio in Multitrack view you should be able to recover everything up to the point of the crash, as it's direct to disk. In Waveform view, you won't be so lucky.
