Hello there,

To Adobe Audition Devs:
Can you guys make it happen for the next update, before the grandiose era of 2020?
I believe it was requested several times.
(Needless to say, it's been there for many years in other DAWs / Audio Editors)

If not for us, do it for the sake of old timers from the Cool Edit Pro era!
[They waited long enough, didn't they :)]

As far as I'm concerned (as what you describe as a CEP 'old timer' too), I can't see any point in it myself. Just clicking on the timeline to create ranges is fraught with difficulties. If I decide that I want a range that spans across three markers, I simply couldn't do it like that using your system. I can do it very easily using the marker panel though... and that's not an imaginary scenario either - it happens quite a lot when you edit classical music takes.

 

And this is a U2U forum - not where the devs hang out...:-)
