In the newest Audition update the frequency analyzer doesn't work anymore.

Does someone else have the same problem?

I just tried it on my system (Windows 10 based) and it appears to work okay--as an extra check I generated a tone and measured that and the reading was spot on.

Bearing that in mind, it would be useful if you could give details of your system and also in what way it doesn't seem to be working.

Finally, it might be worth reverting to the previous version and see if that's okay.  There's a know fault (being worked on by the developers right now) with the Noise Reduction system and a lot of people are reverting.  This doesn't sound like a related problem but it would be interesting to try.

The last post in this thread A severe error was encountered Code (C0000094) gives instructions on how to find previous versions, though the screen layout on my machine seems a bit different...but it's close enough to figure out.

    Dear Bob,

We also run on a Windows 10 system. After the last update of Audition, no data appeared on the analyzer.
Also not after a restart. We therefore returned to an earlier version.

I would recommend closing and re-opening the Frequency Analyzer panel if that wasn't tried. This can be done from the Window menu.
