In the multitrack view: I didn't find these in the list of commands in shortcut keys. I think what I'm looking for is moving the transport, but I could be missing some other meaning.

How do I:

1. Go to the end of the last clip in the current track.

2. Go to the start of the first clip in the current track

3. Go to the start/end of the clip under the cursor

4. Place markers at the start and end of the clip under the cursor

The keystroke method of getting to the ends of clips in a track is to use Alt+Right arrow or Alt+Left Arrow keys. This won't get you directly to the end, but will let you step through all the clips, stopping at the start and end of each one; this is generally the functionality that people want, and it's pretty quick unless you've got absolutely hundreds of clips on a track. The quickest way to get accurately to the end of the last clip is to zoom out and whack the CTI past the end of the track, and then go Alt+Left arrow just once. Same thing works in the other direction. Obviously for your point 3 this gets you where you want immediately.

As for point 4 - when you've used the Alt+arrow key method, just hit F8 when you get to either end. Alternatively, if you highlight the whole clip and hit F8, you will automatically create a cue range.

Now, I know that apart from your point three, this probably isn't quite what you want to hear. If you think that the other options you want should be added as direct keystrokes (and why not?), then you might want to submit a Feature Request:
