I accidentally clicked something somewhere that limits the volume of all of my inputs. I thought it was the hard limiter in effects, but it isn't I can't figure out how to change the settings back so that I can go beyond the limit.

Well, it was nothing in Audition you did - it simply doesn't work like that! Audition records faithfully whatever it's sent from your sound device so if everything's affected, then you need to look first at this, I suspect. If it has a virtual control panel, it may well be something on there that you've done. What sound device are you using?

So I use a Bose Tonematch via USB. I have done some troubleshooting and sound that it's definitely an input effect or setting with an audition.

Except that it can't be - Audition has no control whatsoever over incoming signals - really. Believe me, if it had, we'd know about it.

First thing you should do is try the Bose on the 'factory settings' scene and see if that works correctly. And follow through the settings instructions on page 17 and 18 of the manual carefully.
