Hardware controller for HUD volume
I edit a lot of narration, and have yet to find a plugin (or the ideal plugin settings) to remove breaths that doesn't also take bites of sibiliance and other stuff I want to keep.
This mean my cursor makes many a trip to the HUD volume wheel to turn down breath volume.
I have a MIDI controller, the M-Wave SMC Mixer. It works with my DAW, and it LOOKS like I've been able to get Audition to recognize it.
But I'm having trouble finding
1) What to assign as the input fader. I realize this is more specific to the device, having less to do with Adobe Audition.
2) Where I could assign a knob/fader to the HUD volume control, assuming I could do #1
Anybody have any ideas?
