harsh voice needs modulation

I'm afraid it is too difficult to know exactly what you mean by 'harsh' without hearing a sample of your recorded audio. Normally if you mean there are excessive high frequencies then using one of the Equaliser effects to reduce the high end would be the answer. But it could be all sorts of other reasons why it sounds 'harsh'. So can you post a clip from it somewhere so that we can take a listen and advise what might need doing to the audio to make it sound better.
