Help, I lost my multitracks recordings in windows, 14 files missing

Dear All,

 

I had a recording session and this happened the first time for me. I had 18 files recorded with 2 inputs. I saved the file, restarted my computer, and changed my hardware setting. All of sudden, 14 files out of 18 files are missing. I already tried to find a backup file, temp folder and even roaming folder. Still have no luck finding it. Any help would be very appreciated. I am using Adobe Audition CS6 windows x64

Exactly what happened, the audition was crashed and I continued recording. But I remembered that I click the save button many times. So it won't automatically be saved?


Not good

When you restarted it probably gave you the option to delete the crashed session or something like that - yes was the answer you needed.

Because of this Audition was 'saving' the recordings to a temporary area which no longer exists

Unfortunately, they are gone for good
