Help needed for WAV Export Issue in Audition CC 2015

Question

Hello. I have a Multi-Track session recorded in Audition CC 2015. The whole project is only 2 minutes and 30 seconds long. When I export the "Entire session" as a WAV file, it always adds an empty 30 seconds to the WAV file, making it 3 minutes long. The session is trimmed exactly at 2 minutes and 30 seconds, with no remaining data past that time within my project.

Why is Audition adding these seconds to my WAV during exporting and how can this be stopped?

If you don't want to include the time that Audition deliberately leaves to allow for reverb, etc to die away, then don't use the 'entire session' option, and make a time selection of exactly what you want and use the 'time selection' option instead; that's what it's there for.
