i was literally just listening to the file that I’ve had recorded for a while. Adobe crashed n when I restarted it all my custom saved presets for effects were missing. So opened that track to get the presets to resave them. Went back to the new track I was starting. Adobe wanted me to change the folder in while the temp file saves to because of storage so changed it to my e drive. And recorded no problem. When I went back to the other song the file is missing. The beat itself and the recordings are there but the green adobe audition audio file isn’t there. Please help to get this back. Not sure what’s going on if it’s because I moved some things from c drive to e drive or????

I’ve actually rectified this issue myself.

The issue was that when I was doing the new song. I opened the other track and accidentally saved that one under the name of the current (new song) I was recording.

simply Opened that incorrectly named file, the song was there. Save as. enter old song name , save. Close Adobe. Reopen. Files. open recent. The old song I was trying to open. Clicked that. The song is now back.

So if you recently recorded a song and opened another track in the process of doing that song and adobe crashed or you saved anything. Make sure your looking at the names of the track to which is saving. If it’s missing look under that new song files that you just did. That old track may be in there. Your welcome. Hope this helped anyone with the same issue
