Help with macro for trimming beginning and end of audio files

I'd love to learn to program two separate macro functions for easier beginning and end trimming.

1. Delete everything to the left of my cursor selection
2. Delete everything to the right of my cursor selection

Any of you already do this? Please let me know. Thanks.
