Question

Horizontal zoom. WHAT is happening?

Normally when I need to work with audio I work in Logic Pro. But I just installed Audition to try it out. Can someone explain to me why Adobe decided to make horizontal zooming with Command + mouse wheel instead of Option + mouse wheel like in Premiere and AE? Is this to confuse the user? Once you get used to one standard and it works, Audition says "Now you need to get used to COMMANDS". And then when you go back to editing video you have to use Option again. Did you really need to use different keys for the same function? It seems like the staff didn't agree among themselves and randomly assigned different ways.
The same goes for Photoshop. Holding down the mouse wheel in Premiere and AE allows you to move the preview monitor. But in Photoshop it should be different. - space. WHAT is going on here?
As a new user, I see this mess. But, apparently, the "old school" is already used to this and will be against changes, so that one function is performed the same in all programs, and not differently, as if we use programs from different manufacturers. So, I guess I will have to get used to this too. (
Or maybe a miracle will happen.
I wish everyone patience and peace.

Obviously you've answered your own question, but I'd go a bit further and say that this is actually good for you, as it keeps your brain more active....  😉

That's why I'm here. Because my brain is going crazy with all the actions I take while editing. And the more moments of confusion like this, the more it distracts from the workflow.)
Maybe my brain memory is full 😄

Just sling out some of the old stuff and have another go!
