How can I restore the previous playhead behavior (markers related)?

I've noticed a change in the playhead behavior after a recent upgrade in Adobe Audition. Previously, when I double-clicked on a marker in the markers panel while playing, the playhead would jump to the marker and start playing from that marker position. However, the current behavior is different: the playhead jumps (in a faded ghost style), but the actual playing playhead remains at the old position, continuously playing from there. 

I've searched through the preferences but couldn't find any settings related to this change. Is there a way to restore the old playhead behavior? My current workflow relies heavilly on the old behavior, any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
