How can I set Adobe Audition's "save as" defaults?

Currently it offers 44kHz 32bit Wave PCM with "Include markers and other metadata" checkbox set, and doesn't look like willing to preserve my latest "save as" settings.

Which is annoying as those default settings are totally not what I need.

Saving and using a custom settings preset is also annoying is it forces to select it from the dropdown menu.

I value my time. How can I avoid those extra steps and just click the Save button?
